2006/7/8 SD Rear Spring Kit QA1

This combination provides a soft ride, and does not produce a "leaning" sensation in turns.  Works with stock wheel or 13" wheels and tires up to 145/70R13.  Tires MUST NOT be wider than the wheel well.  The kit provides a replacement spring for the rear of the 2006, 2007 or 2008 Xebra SD sedan trike. The stock SD spring is undersized and rests dangerously close to the bottom of the shock travel.This kit increases the spring rate, allowing for normal travel of the shock.  The kit retains the stock shock and replaces the spring.  The unit includes all parts necessary to replace stock spring with a QA1 250 lb. aftermarket spring. 1 kit per wheel.

I *REALLY* like the stock shock on the rear of the SD sedan.  It has lots of travel, and has nice open valves.  Just right for a smooth ride with no topping out or bottoming out, and it should just float over the street.  Unfortunately, the  stock spring is this spindly little thing that looks like it couldn't hold up a bicycle, and when the vehicle is loaded it sits down on the bump stop all the time.  When you hit a bump it literally throws the back end of the vehicle up and off the bump stop, only to fall back down onto it again.  This is especially true if the vehicle has been modified with bigger batteries or more of them.  This kit replaces the stock spring and makes the sedan ride like it should.
